BUMBWI SUDI NEWLY PARISHIN ZANZIBAR 2021
This parish was officially opened bythe Catholic bishop of Zanzibar, Rt.Rev. Augustine N.Shao C.S.Sp on 1st January 2021.
This is a result of unceaseing prayers of Bumbwisudi faithful to have Mass service than marching such a distance of hours. We still encourage our brothers and sisters to pray that we have many priests and missionaries to preach for us and bring for us Holy Eucharist the source and summit of Christian life.
The approximately number of faithful reaches 1200 the baptized one. This new parish is having two outstations. St Monica in Mbuzini, St. Martin De Pores in Mwakaje. All are found in the system of small Christian communities.
Rev Fr Andrew Mukas AJ, is currently appointed as acting parish Priest due the death of Fr. Vincent Shio, may his soul rest in God's etenal rest. Amen.
