WELCOME TO OUR CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF ZANZIBAR ST. JOSEPH’S CATHEDRAL PARISH - UNGUJA: Founded in 1860’s. The Parish has Four Mission stations; namely – (a) St. Joseph, Minara Miwili, (b) St. John the Evangelist Jumbi, (c) St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Mtoni and (d) St. Monica Mbuzini. The Parish has more than 2,471 baptized Catholics. This parish is one of the historical sites in the might history of Zanzibar PRIESTS OF ST JOSEPH'S PARISH CATHEDRAL REV. Fathers and religious sisters from the Congrigation of St Charles Lwanga Bukoba offering their apostolate mission in Zanzibar Catholic Diocese.
